Vanquisher Revealing Armors

Released: 11-06-2009 Last Update: 11-08-2009 Installs: 31
Supported
Reusable Graphical Translations

This is a package of edited textures for all Vanquisher armors, including base clothing. Some are topless, some have translucency, and some are just more revealing variants of the originals.

Version 1.1 features more revealing armors, replacing most of the fully topless ones from the original version. If anyone wants to get the original, the fully topless chests that it includes are starting, buckled, assassin, and plate. It also has a different, though not topless, chain chest.

There is now a choice of 2 optional edited base skins in the package, with nipples, designed to work with the edited armors. One is the default skin, and the other is a modification of Loraxium's ebony skin.

NOTE: I used the default nipple-less skin for all of the screenshots... if anyone needs me to black-bar them anyway, let me know.

While I'm all up for sexier armors, it's a bit too much. I really like some of these, but those that actually expose breasts kind of ruins the style, I think.

If you could do a version of the armors where the breasts are not revealed, it would be a win for me. I love what you did to the Assassin armor, although the leather stripes are way too "edgy". And I'd keep the top portion the way it was, it would look sexier IMO.

I actually completely agree with you - the topless ones are the first I did, and I had a better time with the ones I did later. My favorites are the heavy plate and the gunslinger armor (which is actually the least revealing).

The assassin one is actually the very first I did, and I didn't realize that alpha channels worked then - I'll probably tweak it at some point this weekend so that the leg strips blend better.

The chain armor really bugs me too, I really can't think of anything simple to change on it. I guess I need to learn how to edit the meshes.

Yea, Gunslinger is awesome. Shadow Armor is, too.

And thanks, hope you don't abandon this, great stuff!

The topless ones look pretty strange with no nipples, and I - like SilverD wrote too - prefer the ones that are a bit more revealing but not completely naked.
The two screenshots at the bottom look great, I'd like the others to look more like them too. Keep it up.

EDIT: Oh, never mind, missed what you wrote about the screenshots and no nipples.
But I do prefer if the breasts would be covered.

You should be fine without the black bar. It's no different than them going into the file themselves

I'll probably have a new version of this up by Sunday night or Monday.

I'm working towards replacing all of the fully topless armors in the set (though I might leave the old ones, renamed, in the mod folder if anyone wants to use them).

I've already made a much nicer buckled chest and assassin chest. I'm not quite done with the assassin since I still can't get the banding on the legs to look as nice as I'd like (the texture is stretched there such that the pixels are quite large, so it's easy for it to look jagged).

I think I'm going to leave the two leather chests as they are, but I'll probably try and find something/anything else to do with the chain chest.

I've got the plate chest left to do, and I think I'm going to add some more blue and red detail patterning to the spiked chest but leave it topless otherwise.

Not sure about the starting/armorless chest. On the one hand, I kind of feel like it's the one that has an excuse to be topless... but I might try to do something translucent with it or work it into some sort of lingerie.

Also, if anyone hadn't noticed, the hair texture is editable now after the patch - I probably won't mess with it in this though. I also saw a very nice ebony skin tint at the official forum, I'll probably modify/nipplefy that to work with these too and include it as an optional install folder.

EDIT: What would anyone think of turning the gunslinger armor into a lab coat? I was thinking it might go nice with the goggled look.

Awesome mod, thanks. Since I saw the Vanq I started wondering how much would it take to have a high-quality seminude mod for her armors, and here it is

I agree with everyone that half exposure is better than full topless, so... For the chain armor, how about you make it so that it leaves the lower part of the breasts exposed, while covering (with no translucency) the top part? Something like a very shot top, a reverse of the shadow one. Besides that, sure for the lab coats, I'll welcome any variant you decide to provide!

Edit: I had some spare time, so I remade the leather one to my tastes. I wanted even less exposure, but I messed up measurements... The shirt makes no sense, and I have no idea how does she wear that armour without chocking herself to death but who cares!

Thumbs up

I like what you've done here. I'm looking forward to seeing the new versions for the Vanquisher.

Double yes for the lab coat! Makes think of Dr. Horrible's Sing-a-Long Blog.

Keep up the good work!

Garath, I really like what you did with that shirt, I might look into doing something like that with the leather and heavy leather chests.

EDIT: Also, I took your advice on the chain chest, it looks a lot better than the last one. Thanks!
