Old Enchanter Mod - for v1.12 Patch

Old Enchanter & Nice Enchanter - for v1.12b · **Released**: 11-06-2009

I threw this together today after the v1.12 patch because let's face it...the enchanter is now so completely hosed that it's not worth the gold or the risk anymore. The enchanter now treats all items as generics and doesn't cost more for uniques than normal white items. Also, the enchantments provided are now very weak after the patch. I don't have a fix for those issues yet as this is all new to me. What this mod does is basically put the enchanter and shrine rates the way they were before the v1.12 patch. Simply unzip this to your mods folder and the enchanter should be playing ball like he used to.

*Updated* By request, some people wanted a zero percent wipe rate version of this mod, so I included that, as well!

This mod works with versions v1.12 - v1.12b! Tested and proven!

Old Enchanter Mod!
Enchanter capped at 2% wipe rate. You have an 80% chance for an enchantment and a 20% chance to socket an item.
Shrines capped at 1% wipe rate. You have an 80% chance for an enchantment and a 20% chance to socket an item.

Nice Enchanter Mod!
Enchanter capped at 0% wipe rate. You have an 80% chance for an enchantment and a 20% chance to socket an item.

I installed the mod Nice Enchanter and it didn't work. I've been trying to figure out why. But no matter what I do, it just doesn't seem to work. Is there something I need for it to work or some odd way of installing it.

Please help on this matter. thank you and I'm enjoying your old enchanter for the time being. ^_^

Ah never mind I figured out what was wrong. It was another mod effecting it. duh.

The Freedom Mod you say I should use? I think, I tried so many of them, but I have the latest patch, and all failed.

We really need a complexity mod for the latest patch, or a hack tool. URGENT

Please, modders, find a way.

Thanks for the mod its great.

Just wanted to let people know that if you have this installed then install the
100% UniqueDrop mod that the UniqueDrop will not work because of a conflict in file name.
